Club Carlson members earn 20 points per $1. Assuming a stay of one night, you’d earn 3,000 points each night. In that scenario, the 2,500-point bonus for a night doubles the earnings.
Not awful, but not good either. Once the bonus is combined with a 30 percent discount, the value proposition is pretty compelling.
On the downside, reservations are non refundable. And of those 350 participating hotels, there are only 12 at the U.S., all Park Inns.
